About City Squad
City Squad is civic reporting, simplified. We make it effortless for residents to report the everyday problems they see — and give cities one organized place to act on them.
Why we built it
Reporting a pothole or a broken streetlight shouldn’t mean hunting for the right phone number, waiting on hold, or filling out a form that goes nowhere. Most neighborhood problems go unreported simply because it’s too much friction. Meanwhile cities juggle phone calls, emails, and spreadsheets that make it hard to see what’s happening and who owns it. City Squad closes that gap for both sides.
How it’s different
- Resident-first: report in under a minute, from your phone, with no account required.
- Precise: every report is pinned to exact map coordinates and an address, not a vague description.
- Routed, not lost: reports go to the responsible department by category, with a clear status trail.
- Transparent: you can follow your report from submitted to resolved.
- Private by default: your personal details aren’t shown publicly — only what’s needed to fix the problem.
Who it’s for
City Squad is built for the residents who notice things first, and for the city teams who keep neighborhoods running. Each city gets its own City Squad, so reports, categories, and workflows fit how that city actually operates.
Where we’re headed
We’re rolling out city by city, adding public maps, richer status updates, and deeper tools for city teams. If you’d like to bring City Squad to your city, we’d love to talk — here’s how it works for cities.
